Terrain and map credits
The landscape uses real map and elevation data. The small trees illustrate mapped woodland; their positions, sizes and shapes are not a survey of individual trees.
Base map and woodland
OpenFreeMap · © OpenMapTiles · © OpenStreetMap contributors.
OpenStreetMap data is available under the Open Database Licence. The map retains its provider attribution.
Tree illustrations are placed inside woodland polygons identified by the OpenMapTiles landcover schema. Polygon holes stay clear. A green park or field alone is not treated as woodland.
Elevation via Mapterhorn
Elevation © Mapterhorn. Its terrain combines global Copernicus GLO-30 data with regional elevation sources where available. See the complete source and licence catalogue for the other regional contributors.
Elevation is displayed without vertical exaggeration. Source resolution and coverage vary. Copernicus is a surface model that can include buildings and vegetation; the combined map does not provide surveyed ground or tree heights.
